REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITY, URBAN AGRICULTURE AND REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE
RELEVANT ASPECTS FOR FAMILY ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION.
Abstract
Urban agriculture, which refers to the practice of growing food in urban environments, is
closely related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United
Nations. The SDGs are a universal plan of action to protect the planet and improve
people's lives around the world. In particular, SDG 11, "Sustainable Cities and
Communities," aims to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Urban
agriculture can significantly contribute to achieving this goal by addressing the social,
economic, and environmental challenges associated with food production in urban
environments.
This paper articulates the concepts of the circular economy and agricultural regeneration
processes, covering general aspects of regenerative agricultural practices, their effects on
soil and biodiversity, and presenting management tools for regenerative bioeconomic
processes in Argentina.
