Abstract

This article analyzes the growing impact of artificial intelligence in higher education, considering the challenges and opportunities it represents for teaching. Through a critical and exhaustive review of secondary sources, it analyzes how AI is implemented in educational processes, planning, assessment, and the role of university professors. Emerging tools are identified, presenting new options for teachers, the preparation of educational institutions is reflected upon, and new practical forms of integration are proposed. The research presents the results, identifying the greatest obstacles faced by teachers today and new options for implementing AI in teaching, concluding with recommendations for future research.
