PUERPERIUM AND IMPLICATIONS: USE OF ECOLOGICAL SANITARY PADS

This study aims to analyze women in the postpartum period, where physiological changes such as low back pain and lochia occur. This purpose was achieved through bibliographic review and online field research. When a questionnaire was applied via Google Forms, the first step consisted of the Free and Informed Consent Form and two questions about personal data, then 3 questions about the experience with the sanitary pad and finally the Roland and Morris Questionnaire with 24 questions, which assesses the disability function of patients with low back pain in their activities. Five puerperal women were evaluated. It was demonstrated that the ecological absorbent brings practicality and goodness, however, in relation to the confection some adjustments were suggested. Regarding low back pain, the questionnaire that assesses the functional disability of patients with low back pain in their activities, we can say that of the five interviewees, one has disability and the 19 have complaints, but no disability.
