Abstract

The goal of this research is to analyze the perceptions of black feminist movement’s activists of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba. The ideas and manifestations of black feminism emerge as an integrating alternative, as the reality of black women has historically not been contemplated by feminism, nor by the black movement. The relevance of this research is given by the possibility of knowing black feminism through its activists, as well as the potential to generate benefits for the black feminist movement and for the collaborators, due to the repercussion in the academic environment and in the society. From the methodological point of view, the research will be qualitative, with the Oral History Methodology. Six activists will be interviewed. Data analysis will be performed using the triangulation technique. As a result, it is expected to understand how activists of the black feminist movement in Vale do Paraíba perceive their performance, as well as the process of construction and development of feminist agendas.
