Abstract

The Knowledge Economy is established as a strategic model to achieve productivity and competitiveness, the dynamics with which the knowledge economy has been developing in the last ten years in Colombia, contain a high degree of valuable information and an important chain of relationships between Institutions that promote the development of a knowledge society, in which scientific and technological knowledge are considered the axes of the social and cultural activity of a nation as the determining factor of production and as a tool to face the problems that They impede the economic and social development of the country, but the development of the Knowledge Economy in Colombia despite the efforts is limited by the lack of funding from the State.
