JOURNAL POLICIES

The Revista Jurídica Eletrônica UnisJuris adopts editorial policies aligned with international best practices, ensuring scientific rigor, transparency, and integrity throughout the editorial process.

Peer Review
Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and, if compliant with the journal’s scope and guidelines, are evaluated through a double blind peer review process. Evaluation criteria include originality, relevance, and scientific consistency. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, and the journal is published semiannually.

Ethics and Plagiarism
The journal follows international standards of ethics in research and scholarly publishing. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and any form of academic misconduct are not accepted. Manuscripts may be screened using similarity detection tools, and any irregularities may result in rejection or retraction. Authors are responsible for the originality of their work, proper citation practices, and compliance with ethical requirements.

Use of Artificial Intelligence
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is permitted as a support for writing, provided it is properly disclosed at submission. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the content, and misuse—such as generating non-original content or falsified data—constitutes academic misconduct.

Open Access
The journal is fully open access, with all content made immediately and freely available online, without fees. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing use, distribution, and adaptation, including for commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given.

Funding
The journal is institutionally supported by the Centro Universitário do Sul de Minas (UNISMG), part of the UNIS Educational Group. No submission or article processing charges (APCs) are required, and the entire editorial process is free of charge for authors.
